speared sack Spear your Hacky with whatever needle, or shank you can find to work a rope sized hole in the back of the hacky (The side with the knot. NOT THE SPIRAL) You'll want to go at least a quarter inch to an inch from the center, basically you want the rope to grab enough of the hacky so the threads don't just tear right out the second you learn how to use it with any power.

once your holes are made and are fairly stable (working that needle around) Take your shank and spear the very end of your cord so it is easier to fit the cord through the holes you just made.line through sack

 

Pull the cord through a couple inches because you're going to want to make a slip knot so that the weight is evenly balanced at the end of the cord (covered in the next page). This will prevent your object from wobbling during swing.
